How to set up a PPPoE connection in Router

PPPoE is the most popular option to provide internet in ISP. Most Internet Service Providers are provided internet using PPPoE. PPPoE means Dynamic connection. This way ISP provides shared bandwidth. Users can’t get Real IP with this method.

Let’s start with how to set up a PPPoE connection in router.

Tp-link, Natis, Tenda, and Weblink are the most popular in the router world. We will see all of them.

How to set up a Tp-link router?

Simply Tp-link routers getaway is 192.168.0.1 and It’s the default username and password is admin.

Let go 192.168.0.1 on the website bar in a browser. (Before this process, please connect the device with the router. You can connect by WiFi or Ethernet cable). Tp-link default password you will get under the router. There will be a label.

Now enter the Defaults Username admin and also Password admin

Now login to the page.

Then click the Quick Setup. Then click Next.

There are 3 options. Wireless Router means you can be connected without a wireline. We don’t use it now. Also, Repeater means the device can copy and reinforce the existing wireless signal to extend the coverage of the signal, especially for a large space to eliminate signal-blind corners.

We will select the Access Point. (Please, make sure to connect the device by wired)

Now you will get this.

Here set PPPoE. Then press Next.

Then you will get it

Now enter the username and password which is provided by the ISP. If they don’t give anything please contact the Internet Provider.

Now Press Next.

Set the wifi name in Wireless Network Name and enter a Password in PSK password.

Then press next. After this you will get the Finished. Meaning you finish all work.

Method 2:

You can set it up this way. After login

Network >> Wan >> Wan Connection Type >> PPPoE >> Username and Password >> Save

Note: If you don’t rest your router. You can’t get First method. There you need to follow this way.

How to set up a Natis router?

Natis router setup is easier than Tp link router. You need to connect the router with your PC or you can connect by WiFi. Natis WiFi default Password is password

Natis Router default getaway is 192.168.1.1

Go to the getway then you will see this.

Set PPPoE and Now enter the username and password which is provided by the ISP. If they don’t give anything please contact the Internet Provider.

In the Wireless Setup, SSID means WiFi name and Password name is also for WiFi password. Then press Save.

How to setup natis administration password?

Natis Router has not an admin password in default. You need to setup a password for admin login.

First, Go to the Natis Router default getaway 192.168.1.1 then press the Advance.

Then you will get this interface.

Now go to the System Tools.

Then go to the password and Enter the username name in New Username. Then set a password for login in New Password then retype the Password in Confirm New password.

Now Save it.

How to set up a Tenda Router.

Well, Let’s know how to set up a PPPoE connection in the Tenda Router. Tenda router default gateway is 192.168.0.1

So open your browser and go to this IP address. The default Username of Tenda router is admin password is also admin
